I was kind of disappointed in this arc of my favorite series. I get the increasing feeling that the story is just resting on its laurels and delivering the same familiar beats without engaging the reader or growing the characters. It was fine, but I know the series can do better.

I missed a TON of volumes in between the last Lumberjanes TPB and this one, and it was noticeable. Still a bunch of fun, but I didn't recognize some characters and some references went over my head—I assumed I had just forgotten important plot points, but it looks like I missed Volumes 7 through 10, oops. I'd recommend... not doing that?

The art in this volume wasn't my favorite. It distracted from the story a bit and dimmed the usual Lumberjanes charm for me.

I read the separate issues but can't be bothered with adding each one so. I liked this story! I love the gang and their strong bond to each other, it's so cute!
