This was a great story or, start of a story. I had a little trouble keeping track of who some of the characters were. I don’t know if their voices weren’t unique enough or if it was just that I wasn’t paying enough attention. The alien/supernatural/apocalyptic elements were pretty awesome. I’m already reading the next book.

Small town New Hampshire. July 4th. Most of the town is emptying out to go to the fireworks in a nearby town, a few are staying behind to either get drunk or get frisky. Nothing too earth shattering.

And then the church bell starts ringing... without anyone pulling it!

Meh. Not my favorite by Jeremy Robinson, but not awful. Different and different is always good. Will continue with them since they are short.
