I never knew that I could love a book so much. This book was amazing. I’m literally feening for the next one. She needs to hurry up and release it please!!!

Women in STEM: (S)inister (T)reacherous (E)vil (M)Alice

Environmental scientist is rehabilitated to the middle of butt f*ck nowhere and hated for being smart and a woman (shocker). She ends up getting mushroom portaled into the realm of the fae and body slams directly into Tall, Dark, and Murderous. And…. Just go read this damn book y’all. I’m gonna go stare at the ceiling for the next 5-7 business days.

Wtf did I just read? And more importantly - why?
I don't even know how to rate this book, it was absolute trash and yet I'll probably read the next one because I hate not knowing what happens next

It was predictable until it was not. I mean, there are things I didn't like, for example the "tiny helpless woman" as the protagonist. However, I have generally enjoyed the story and the plot twist at the end... I didn't see that coming

DID NOT FINISH: 9%

Beginning felt repetitive and oversimplified. Didn’t love main character.
