šŸ“š Just finished How Does It Feel and… not gonna lie, it wasn’t really my cup of tea. I kept waiting for that ā€œOMG I’m hookedā€ moment—and it kinda… never came. 😬 I’ve heard the series gets better, but book one didn’t give what I needed it to give. Might circle back later… or I might just move on with my TBR in peace. šŸ˜…

Spoiler Alert 🚨

Now that twist with her bestie? I was NOT expecting her to be a whole damn Fae… and Crazy Earl?! Sir had me fooled—I really thought he was just out here being wild for no reason! 🤯 And don’t even get me started on her best friend’s mom being the Fae queen she saved as a child when everyone thought she was trippin’. THAT part was wild and honestly the saving grace of the plot.

So yeah, decent twist, slow burn, maybe not for me… but if you’ve read the series and think I should push through, let me know. šŸ“–

DID NOT FINISH

What even is this? I definitely read it because it had a Luna moth on the cover. It was really poorly written and dragged on for what felt like 20 years. DNFed at the forest bog - I don’t usually judge but …. This is some stuff y’all might need to unpack with a therapist.

this book was fun, and i read it really quickly but there were a lot of things i personally wasn’t a fan of. i love a good enemies to lovers but when i read enemies to lovers i want them to be ENEMIES. i felt like they went straight from hating each other to loving each other, and that most of the reason was physical attraction and lust. the plot was overshadowed by the romance but i didn’t feel as connected to the romance because it was so rushed. it’s sad bc the story and plot was really interesting and had a lot of potential but i don’t know if i’ll continue the series because i can’t standddd lust over love stories

This was very much a cover by that after reading, I am semi obsessed with. At the beginning of the book, we are in our world following Callie, who is a scientist. Ever since she has been very young, she has been trying to discover this rare moth. She believes it will lead her to a fairy.

Obviously, she doesn’t mention this to many people because they might think that she is crazy. When she discovers a mushroom that the moth is drawn to she finds herself thrown into the Unseelie Courts. We then follow her as she has to navigate this horrible world where the Unseelie Prince has it in for her, thinking she has been sent by the humans to kill him.

This is a very dark romance, but I really loved it. Callie is a great character and while I was more interested in the world and the other characters by the end of the book I’m fully invested in her and her story. I eagerly am going to get the audio for a book too sooner than later so that I can continue.

I honestly think this is one the best book series I’ve had the pleasure to read in recent years, I literally threw my kindle across my bed at the end of this book when I read the twisty cliffhanger! lol I will recommend this book to literally anyone who has any interest in fantasy spice!
