This book was free on Amazon and I was looking for some fluff to read when I didn’t want to be bogged down in my non-fiction books.
It’s an enemies to lovers trope, which has the usual dumbness. I’m giving it more points for having the third act drama actually be a gut wrenching shocker instead of your usual misunderstanding. The protagonists actually talk through it but just don’t trust the other person in the situation.
Anyways, for the genre it’s pretty well written but it was a lot spicier than I expected.
