wow!!
this book was amazing. i loved the concept of the reader going to see Dimitri family. i just adored that. i loved how they welcomed her to their family.this book surely had its twists which i just love. which i am dismal to say did not see coming. i never thought thatabi was her father. And so many other thing i didnt see coming. but one thing that i did love was that the book took place in Russia. my parents met there was it really touch home.this was also the first book that i have read that take place in Russia.
i cant wait to read the next book. i dont think that dimitri is going to waits his time. he is going to kill her or maybe turn her.

Absolutely amazing.....Vampire Academy is a great series and I highly recommend it......I think Blood Promise is my favorite so far.......
Rivetting; loved the ending.
Richelle Mead was able to pick up a lot of details from other parts of the series and fit them in here so that it all made more sense.

I only remember pieces of this story. Which really sucks because things that happened are great in their own way. Rose and Dimitri’s relationship is amazing to see unfold, even in hard times.
For at least the first half of this book, I was unsure whether I was enjoying the change of scenery and new characters. I was frustrated with Rose. Then there was a quick about face and I understood that I was frustrated with Rose for a reason. The things I was feeling while I was reading, I was supposed to be reading. I think this book has the most substance of the first four Vampire Academy books and I would encourage anyone reading to hold out because when this book gets good, it really gets good.
fantastic. never finished this one as a tween and apparently i made up my own plot in the time since. i had no idea what was going on but also could guess everything. i still gasped out loud at things even though i knew they’d happen
This story was so heart breaking that I know have a hole in my chest where my heart was. It was a great story, but this writer really knows how to write sadness. I feel like I need a hug after finishing (and I'm all about my personal space). Heart breaking sadness aside, it was worth reading. Richelle can captivate an audience, I tell you.
Again and again problems keep coming up. You think we would get a break but then everything spirals downwards again. Its always just downhill. Yet Richelle keeps pulling me in enough to continue to the next book. But only two left, so something has got to get resolved. I don’t even know how I got pulled so far into this series. I just ... I don’t know.
