Definitely my least favorite book in the series so far. The beginning was too long and boring partially because of the introduction of an unnecessary character (Sydney, who gets her own series). Other than the commercial for Bloodlines, I just wasn't as invested in Rose's story this time around. The action picked up a bit towards the end of the book (last few chapters), but everything else felt too long and drawn out. The ending gives me hope for the rest of the series, so I still will continue with book 5.

After finishing the first few books lightning fast and wanting more, this book left me wishing it would just end. The plot was beyond boring for the majority of it, or just retelling what had already happened. I want new plot not a summary of what I’ve already read. I like the idea but think it could have been done differently, and with less pages or more new plot
Nonostante le copertine sempre più brutte, la storia procede spedita e la trama si complica ulteriormente. Oramai mancano solo due libri alla conclusione e non so proprio cosa aspettarmi.

That was a difficult tough act to follow, after the greatness of Shadow Kissed. And this one felt rather tedious in the Dimitri/Rose section, though I did read it all in like 3 hours so, well, yeah.
