I actually really liked this book compared to the rest. The writing seemed less cringy and slightly better but also she didn’t repeat so much what happened in the pervious book like she usually does. I also like that there was less focus on Lissa this book

this book...

ouch. I didn't enjoy this for the most part. The first half of it was really, really boring. I did enjoy the last half for the most part though, so there's that.

This series had a great idea, the Russian influence within the American culture and the entire idea of a "vampire" boarding school.
The issue with this book is the fact that it was 500 pages but I would guess that only 300 of those was actually new plot or development. The author felt the need to basically retell the past book in this book, which I found incredibly annoying.

I am unsure why each of these books have to end in a neat little happily ever after package, it does not make a lot of sense.
