Juliet is in hiding but also not really hiding. Her and her friends steal from dangerous people and give to those who need it. A recent job stealing $90,000 worth of diapers goes awry. She notices “Liam” following her and wanting to talk to her. He demands her attention when he is near and when they are alone, fireworks explode from the tension and he wants her to call him Killian. Killian isn’t who everyone thinks he is. Killian wants Juliet in a way he never wanted anyone. Their banter is hilarious and I loved it. The spice was Hot. Did I also mention the narrators did an amazing job on this. Troy Duran and Maryne Young knocked it out the park. The duet narration kills me every time. Duet narration, especially as talented as these two really bring the book to life!

Mostly good except for around 60-80% when Juliet was realllyyyy acting like her immature 25-year-old self. Her friends Max and Fin could have used a LOT more development as well, there's literally 1 sentence about their fathers also being corrupt powerful men (arms dealer) and that they all met at boarding school at 13 but that's all. Their plan to rob from these powerful organizations to give to the poor is soooooo juvenile. Where did Juliet learn hacking skills? Where did Fin learn to hot wire? Not explained! We're just told that Juliet got this job at a newspaper and she learned "internet skills" there lol holy shit dumb.
The ending went full retard too.
Juliet and her friends steal a truckload of diapers from the Irish mafia, which intrigues Killian Black so he pursues her. They're instantly attracted to each other but she doesn't want to be because he's a "bad man" and she knows how they are because she's Juliet Moretti, the only child of the head of the NY Italian mob. There's a ton of push and pull and when they finally get together for 1 week in this resort town it's explosive. After that they part ways again which frustrates them both and Juliet comes up with endless theories about who he actually is. Oh yea because everyone thinks that he's Liam Black but he told her his name is Killian and that he has all these secrets, like he's also trying to help people but he can't tell her anything until she trusts him.
She has a pregnancy scare but its negative. Then she sees pregnant Truvy being lovingly adored by Liam and she thinks its Killian. This sends her into a sadness spiral which lands her in jail for attempted stealing of a tequila bottle.
Then the plot goes fully dumb. These are powerful guys who seem to have no problem controlling the police and hospitals and shit but no they have to send in Truvy who introduces herself as Juliet's defense attorney LOL WHAT is there going to be a TRIAL hahaha soooo dumb. Of course there's infuriating miscommunication and Tru is like I can't tell you the secrets it has to be from Killian!
But right as they're leaving the jail Juliet is grabbed by the Serbians who take her to a remote farmhouse and torture her by whipping the soles of her feet and throwing her into a dungeon hole in the ground. Day(s) later Killian rescues her using his ridiculous spy military skills. Juliet had used the time to realize she loves him and agrees to be with him so he writes her a letter admitting who he is.
In the epilogue Tru has had her baby and Killian has worked out the dumbest deal of all time that Juliet's father will step down as head of the NY Italian mob and Killian will step down from the Irish mafia and fucking latino Diego from the first book, who worked at the diner with Tru, will head them both up.
I can't even with how dumb this ending is.

Really great read. Killian is such a complex character and I love that we got to see Liam & Tru again. Juliet was really interesting too even though I lost patience with her toward the end.
I would have enjoyed this a lot more of the heroine wasn’t annoying as shit.
I was so sick of her pull and push bullshit with Killian. She was just so hypocritical and judgemental and I can’t get over how cringe her whole Robin Hood thing was. Not to mention she had the audacity to ask someone else to donate a million dollars like bitch that’s not your money??? This girl seriously needed therapy for her daddy issues.
I really liked Killian although I thought he had a very similar voice to Liam in the last book. But I still loved him! Although the Shakespeare stuff was also cringe to me lol.
SPOILERS FOR THIS BOOK AND CARNAL URGES….
It was cool to see how Diego came to be the boss of the Irish mafia after briefly seeing him in book one. I can’t believe he was just a cute boy who just worked in a cafe who became the head after the Black brothers retired.

I've been waiting for this book and it certainly did not disappoint!
Definitely not what I expected at all for the elusive Killian Black......but oh so enjoyable to see that he met his match with Juliet.
Geissinger keeps her readers on the edge of their seats with the intrigue, drama and steam!!!
Phenomenal read!

I LOVED this book. I thought the tension between the H/h was VERY well done and I kept reading, couldn't put the book down just so I could see what happened next. I’m so incredibly thrilled to have a new author with a backlist I can dive into. Can’t wait to read more.

Maybe it’s because I’ve read so many of these books in a row but so much of the stories are EXACTLY the same. I liked the overall plot of this book but it was like words had been copy and pasted from the first book.
