After the events of the previous book, Killian Black continues to pose as his twin brother, Liam.
Juliet, a philanthropist thief, steals a truck full of diapers from a warehouse, which is owned by Killian Black. Killian, confused by Juliet's stealing, attempts to find his thief.

I thought that this book was very interesting. I liked Juliet's character and I did like Killian more than his brother.

This is such a steamy, dark, twist on Romeo and Juliet. Juliet and Killian are both so fiery and Killian is the sweetest romantic you didn’t know you needed. Absolutely amazing the whole way through and even had some laughs!

I love Killian, so of course I liked this book. I wish the smut content had started a little sooner (I feel like we had to wait until later in the book), but overall I liked the main couple and their chemistry. This was the last of all J.T. Geissinger’s books I’ve read, so I didn’t want it to end, but can’t wait for more of her books.

Killian has been a favorite of mine since the Dangerous Beauty series. I was so hoping we would see his HEA and after the twist in Beautifully Cruel, I was hopefully.
Killian needed a woman that would drop him on his ass and Jules was all that and more. It so go nice to see Killian's softer side from his perspective. And the near constant tension he carries by living so many different realities.
Jules isn't without her own issues to resolve as she tries to correct the past as well.
One of my favorite quotes, "We can’t walk away from it. We carry our history around in our hearts and our memories and deep within our bones. It’s alive and well, circulating in our bloodstreams."
No matter how hard we try the past is part of who we are and become. We all just need to figure out how to best reconcile with it.
I was so happy to see Killian and Jules find a new path together.

Killian & Juliet ❤️

Dirty talking Irish mafia boss meets girl trying to right her fathers wrongs… um yes please! The nicknames are also incredible, Gangster & Thief!

I love J.T. Geissingers storytelling, and I love her characters even more! The depth of the story and the supporting characters were amazing!

This is my second time reading this, and it was even better (on audio)! The accents and the banter are incredible!

God who knew Killian would be such a fucking romantic? It really makes me appreciate his cameos in the other books more. I adore him. He’s so open and romantic and soft and romantic and sweet and romantic.
