Honestly, i wish i could say that i really liked this. It was good in the beginning but i had to force myself to finish it. It was okay, but i don’t think i would reread this book.

This is the second book of the duet. This book focuses on the other twin, Killian, and the girl who stole more than just diapers from him. I loved this book although sometimes she encroached on my nerves.
✩ 2.25 stars.
my favorite part reading this author’s books is that the hero gets slapped in almost every book after the first kiss. wicked beautiful, wicked sexy, cruel paradise, ache for you… yes, i’m counting them cus i love those scenes.
“Aye. What’s really gonna make you tear your hair out later on is remembering how lustily you kissed me back.” I flatten my hands over his chest and shove, pushing him away far enough to jerk out of his arms. I stand several feet away, my hand cupped over my mouth, unable to look at him. He says, “For the record, I fucking loved it, too.” I spin around and slap his face.’

I've come to realize two things after finishing this book, my 7th from the author.
The stories are not without repetition. Some more than others. Those grouped together in a series, often contain enough similarities to feel somewhat formulaic, be that character profiles, scenes, and sometimes even dialogue.
This doesn't bother me except that I've binged so many in a row that it has become a little disappointing.
The second thing, especially upon reading this book, is that I always love her heroes, but the heroines sometimes rub me the wrong way. They can be obstinate to the point of pity developing for the poor man trying everything to win them over. I didn't like Jules much at all. Killian is this larger than life character and I feel like he deserved better to be honest.
Still, JT Geissinger would have to commit a major sin at this point in order for me to stop buying their books.
