Just great. I'm a bigger Rousey fan because of this, I'll continue to follow her athletic career and respect her as a sportswoman.

Big buildup with the manager drama but it peters out and we don't really know what happened. I would have liked to hear in her words how she was dubbed with her nickname. Additionally sad she is not in better movies, but understand the interst is hers and the roles fit her persona well. She is the best she is at what she does.

I liked the inclusion of the 6 week countdown and explanation of her fights - I've seen them all but it's a whole other experience hearing about it from her. Also, it's magical that one of her sisters is her co-author, Rousey's bond with her family is stunning and powerful - great to see strong women supporting each other.
Great work from a great human.

I love Ronda:) I think I have read this book 3X...every young girl needs to read this!

Ronda Rousey just confirmed through this book why I consider her one of my heroes.

I have so much more admiration for Ronda Rousey after reading this book.
It is an authentic story of determination, perseverance, and discipline, coming from a real human with good and bad days, who has made good and bad choices. The book is very inspirational and will have a lasting impact on how I approach challenges. Highly recommended!

I'm a HUGE Ronda Rousey fan, I can't express that enough. I know I'm a little too late to review this book, but I've got to, sooner or later. I can't say enough about how great Ronda Rousey herself or this autobiography is. I love how Ronda gives insight into her childhood, all the way to where she is now. Her mother, AnnMaria De Mars, the first person in America to win the world championships in judo, is kind of the biggest character. She's the antagonist, protagonist, and plays both roles really well. Rousey herself is a history-making woman too. The first UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion, the first woman to be inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame, and the first female to hold a UFC Championship and WWE Championship. I don't read a lot of autobiographies, but this is clearly the best one out there for me. Whether you're a die-hard Ronda Rousey fan or just someone who wants a book with lots of wisdom and life lessons in it, this is it.

I am not a woman who follows sports or had any interest in Fighting.

HOWEVER, Ronda Rousey is a super-human, tough as nails Wonder Woman for the ages and she has earned everything she has received. This insightful biography takes into the dank, smelly, painful behind the scenes making of a legend without any safety supports in place. Nothing is kept behind a curtain (other than the names of certain people for their own personal safety). She does not flinch to reveal her vulnerabilities, her shortcomings, her failures and upsets. Each pages bleeds with pure humanity in its most condensed forms: heartbreak, trial, and triumph. She is a symbol to and for women everywhere for what we can achieve, and a lesson to men about what it takes for us to achieve it.

This is not what I would call a fun or easy read. But it is worth it.

Great and inspiring book. Ronda's personality really showed in the book and she is super loveable.

However I would give this book a 3.5 because the prose were pretty basic and book jumps around a lot with the timeline.

This was a really intriguing look at the world of an MMA fighter and an unapologetically confident woman. I was a little put off by her constant emphasis on winning being the only option, but if that worldview works for her, that's great. I never realized the complexity of MMA fighting, and I'd be interested to see if that translates while watching fights. Rousey is definitely a game-changer, and it was a fascinating insight into her life.

If you've ever wanted to know more about the undefeated UFC champ, read this book. It will inspire the shit out of you!!

I really really enjoyed this. I cannot believe someone like Rousey exists but I am entirely in awe of her. It might be impossible to read this and not feel a little pumped.
