Listened to the audiobook. I liked hearing it read by Ronda. Different from my usual read but entertaining. 3.5
I don't know what drew me in to this book initially, but I think this might be the book that sticks with me in 2016. First, it's a book that told me a lot of what I need to hear right now. Second, it taught me too care about things I don't understand. I feel life this book opened me up to exploring new ideas and listening to the ideas others put forth with greater respect. Finally, and ultimately, it reinforces what I feel about proving people wrong being the best form of revenge.

I just want to quote the whole book! (so choosing my favourite quotes is gonna be a struggle)
The determination, the belief in herself, her overwhelming passion is like a breath of fresh air amidst people telling everyone "to get real", "stop daydreaming" and so on. I hope to have even if just a tiny bit of such a driving force in my life.
Super motivational, super good.

~3.5 stars~
From the start of her narrative, I could just feel the strength and vigor in Ronda. She is willing to put her all to win a fight and she never messes around. She is confident in her abilities and knows what is capable of doing in the ring. One important thing that stood out in her memoir is her unwavering believe that she knew what she could do and she wasn't hesitant about being "egoistic" as outside may call it in her absolute belief in herself.
There were many passages that she wrote before the start of every chapter that I loved and have highlighted many for future quote references.

This book details Ronda Rousey’s rise from childhood to the world of MMA. She is the fiercest athlete on the planet right now, it was great to learn about the girl beyond the octagon.
I devoured this book. This book was so well put together. I felt like I was watching her grown into the person she is today.
Rousey came off so personable in this book. It was so such a joy to see this side of her. She talks about her training process, her goals and aspirations. -
I recommend this book to everyone!
I give this book an A

As much as I like watching her fight, her story could have waited for more moments. I'm tired for the struggle and then conquer stories, that don't really have an in-depthness to them. I was bored, and think I only finished as I need material to get though my train journey that week.
I started this autobiography quite liking Ronda Rousey and by the end of the book I thought she was a total bellend. She dealt with some hardships in her younger days, but it seemed like 90% of the difficulties in her adult life were of her own making.
Boring, repetitive, super intensely aggressive - just take some responsibility for your shit and you won't feel like the entire world is against you.

I was absolutely hooked on this. Ronda's story is one of hard knocks and getting back up again. She is so relatable on so many fronts and deserves all the success. She's an amazing human being.
A very insightful book about the effort, dedication and soul one fighter put into her rise to the top. Rhonda Rousey is someone to look to when you need inspiration. A good read about an exceptional life.
