I loved this book. I knew very little about Ronda before this book, only that she was in the UFC and she is one bad ass woman. I enjoyed her sense of humour and reading about her training in Judo, her family (I found her mom an especially interesting 'character', and her hard working ethic towards her sport(s). Entertaining and easy book to read. I couldn't put it down yesterday and ended up finishing it!
Quick and easy read. There was a lot more depth than I expected. She is confident, but articulate as to why that is.

I tore through this book. It's quite possibly one of the best biographies I've ever read. Ronda Rousey kicks ass, quite literally, and My Fight has you sitting shotgun from the beginning.
"Winning is a habit means trying - and expecting - to be better than everybody in the world every day."

I'm not interested in judo, and the UFC makes me a little sick to my stomach, but I enjoyed reading about this woman's journey. I can appreciate her trail blazing experiences even if I don't like the sport.

Alright so, this one was interesting. I had some trouble getting through it... it wasn't the most concisely written thing. There was repetition and sometimes my brain would just wander. I am intrigued reading the story of someone who is so dominant but I find it interesting to see the difference in the persona that she tries to create and the Ronda I see in interviews and on tv. Very different. I also have to say oooh girll... you don't got to be angry all the time. Anywho, I am still intrigued with Ronda and I am glad I read the book but I wouldn't do it again.
Oh look, an autobio that starts with childhood, progresses through the tough early years, recounts some collaborations and failures, and wraps up in the present day, all the while giving us 'inside baseball' details about the industry and how the subject broke into the industry and made her mark.

Ronda Rousey is an interesting person. I like what she's done for women in the MMA and the whole time you read this book- you realize that everything that everyone speculates about Rowdy is nothing she's never noticed before. She knows people love to hate her. I loved how she described the fights in great detail because after I read the book, I watched all her fights again. I watched her struggle as well. All in all, we can see that things have gotten different from the writing of this book to her last fight with Holly Holm. She still has a good career ahead of her. If Ronda's goal was ever to be famous, she's got it! As far as the writing skills, Ronda and her sister were an OK team for writing this book together. Sometimes the words they used or expression was repetitive but I think that's part of Ronda's personality. I recommend it if you are a woman and a fighter.
