I don't know why I'm surprised that I enjoyed this, because choosing to read it should mean that I felt I would enjoy it (right?), but this book really did surprise me in how much I enjoyed it. It was an incredible read. My local library has a sticker on the side categorizing the book as "inspirational," and I'm not sure that I would categorize this as that, personally I think the book is very sad. But it's sad in a beautiful way, and I really enjoyed it.

.5 off (for a 4.5 rating) because the chapters are quite long, ranging between 21 and 35 pages (other than the last two, which were 6 pages and 18 pages respectively), which is just not something I'm a huge fan of because it doesn't allow me to make progress (in the way that I visualize my progress) as easily throughout the day. Still, definitely a very enjoyable book and one I'd recommend to others.
