Am I supposed to be charmed by this? This boy's destructiveness has prevented others from enjoying the book. At the very least he or his parents should pay for the book. The book and its friends seem, understandably, horrified about the possibility of encountering the boy. Why are we supposed to be happy that the book is going to its death? Why?

Such a cute book about a little boy in a library(?) who chooses a book to look at, rips pages out, throws it around so much so that the books hide in fear whenever he shows up. It seems like this wordless book would help teach kids about the joy of reading and how to take care of books.

It was very irresponsible for the mother to let the boy tear up a library book and then leave it in the library without informing the staff.

Wordless book about a boy who treats books badly then comes to love reading, I like the message a little but there is some subtext about you can treat something bad but then if you love it later its okay that does not sit completely well with me.

There's a good lesson in this one to teach kids how to treat their library books.

Clever way to encourage imagination and get across looking after library books ... or any books really + encourage reading
