After seeing pictures of him partying in a famous newspaper, Matt gets an ultimatum from his bosses: get a girlfriend or lose his job. He needed someone who wouldn't get attached to him and Sabrina Cross was the perfect choice, if something was impossible it was the fact that she would fall for him, or so he thought.
So LL really wrote an enemies to lovers with fake dating and although I'm not the biggest fake dating fan I absolutely loved this one because of their banter, Matt and Sabrina were always each other's neck but the chemistry was there. I loved their development, it was so good, every scene of them just talking was enough to make me root for them.
Sabrina is my new best girl, I'm obsessed with her, she's such a strong and smart character who always knows everything, she didn't let her past define her and her personality was one of the best??? I'M PROPOSING.
As for Matt, I liked him and loved how funny he was, easy to deal with but I was pretty sure he would fall first and then he just couldn't say he loved her back like??? Not what I was expecting, but okay.. he's still a good guy who brings cookies for Sabrina's dog.

There is history between them and an elephant in the room to address.
It definitely screams predictability and I was kind of bored with this one.
From the first book of the series, I wasn't too interested in Matt and Sabrina's characters.
Sure, they were fun in the first book but as a side character.
I am more excited for the last book!

I was so excited for this book! In the last book Sabrina and Matt has such amazing chemistry and I knew I was going to love this one. This book didn’t disappoint it was sexy, fun, packed with charming dialogue. I am obsessed with this series and the works Lauren Layne creates. I’ll be honest there was nothing special about this book the storyline is pretty typical. However, I really loved these characters and I truly connected with their story. I highly recommend this book if you like the hate to love (more like frenemies), fun banter, and a group of characters you’ll fall in love with. In reality I give this book 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️. Adore this series!

I love this series. I was looking forward to this story since Hard Asset because I just needed to know what was going on with these two. Hard Sell is everything I wanted Matt and Sabrina story to be. Between the funny bantering and the HOT sexual chemistry, Matt and Sabrina are perfect together. Yes, there were some mistakes made on both sides at the beginning of their somewhat past relationship. There were some slow parts but that usually comes when you are trying to the past about a couple.
This group of co-worker/friends are hilarious together, but I think that is mostly Kennedy. I can’t wait to see where and how Kate and Kenndy finally come together.
