I got the Twilight Saga complete collection of books for my birthday last year. I remember watching the movies when I was younger and I was so entertained by it all. There are definitely many details that aren't featured in the movie, but it was great to get those extra details! I cannot wait to continue reading these and comparing how many things aren't added in the movies. As cringey as some of the writing could be, it was so nostalgic I loved it so much. Page after page I could picture everything that was happening. What a time honestly, you just had to be there. I was a little young to be watching some of those movies, but I am glad to be able to say I was there in the theater for some of them!

This book is still very readable, but I certainly didn't realise how insanely toxic this relationship and Edward as a whole actually is.
In addition to that all of the girls at Bella's school seemed very stereotypey in mostly bad ways

Idk if that's a spoiler or not but does Esme also work or is being a mother to 100-year-old-teenagers and occasionally volunteering and donating her only job?

this was a reread for me and gotta say that it's overrated... Bella is nearly intolerable and her relationship with Edward gets super dramatic and cheesy about halfway though the book. 
Meyer has a beautiful writing still, it just didn't really fit for me with the whole 'teen-angst' theme

I feel like I might just be giving this book a 4 stars because I love the twilight series. But once you get passed the beginning and the Wattpad vibe I personally think it's a really good book and I love the twilight series.
