DNF. Sickly sweet, painfully obvious. Ridiculous logic by every character introduced so far.

“Olive was concerned what the tragedy would do to her protégée...drugs, drink, promiscuous behaviour...all traps she could fall into.”

Give me a break. So ridiculous and over the top.

Tea

Those are the words that I would use to describe this book.
However how many cups of tea does one person need? And only 2 coffee references!

Forgive me is another fantastic book by Lesley Pearse! Another one I just couldn’t put down!

It starts with the most vivid and heart wrenching thing, the death of Eva’s mother! Flora (Eva’s mother) had committed suicide in the bathtub at home where Eva came home from work and found her.

This horrible event is what starts the beginning of Eva’s emotional roller coster of events to find out who her mother was and what her past was like but also to find out who her real father was. The answers to her questions made her fall into a black hole. But she made it through!

There was way to much death and heart break for poor Eva but she is such a strong and resilient girl in the end!

Her past ended up being really interesting and where she came from was not expected! But she ended up with a better up bringing than what she could have had!

She started her search with no one and ended up with a family and love! What more could one want!
