I thought this book was fine. TBH, I’m not a fan of this genre of post-WWII existential despair. I get it, but I don’t need more reasons to be depressed. I was quite often amused by the narrator’s voice and perspective, and I agree the book was well-written, but I’m glad it’s only 130 pages because more time spent learning about a spoiled young girl ruining people’s lives would have just been intolerable/I would have felt existential despair just for having spent so much time on it.

I can’t believe a 17-year-old wrote this!
