If it didn't end so abruptly, it would have gotten more stars.
I was looking at a list of the books everyone must have read and this was on it. The next day I was walking by my town's little free library and it was in there, so I picked it up and read it in a couple of hours.
While I have read White's essays on New York City, I had never read his fiction, so this was a first experience for me. Obviously, this is a book for children, and while very creative it isn't a cohesive novel. The stories all center on the titular character, a two inch tall human who looks like a mouse. His adventures are all over the place, the book just ends without any type of conclusion, literally in the middle of one of Stuart's adventures and zero resolution.
I guess it's a cute book, but as far as classics go, I feel like this is one most people can skip and be absolutely fine never having read.

This book is hilarious and I love the dated references. The dentist asking if Stuart was sober and Stuart doesn’t deny it. That is so silly

Book Review: Stuart Little ⭐⭐⭐⭐✍️
I gave Stuart Little 4.5 out of 5 stars! 🐭✨ It's such a fast and delightful read, perfect for a quick escape into a whimsical world. I realized after reading it as an adult that many of the things I remembered from the movies don’t actually happen in the book, which left me feeling like something was missing. 🤔 Still, E.B. White's writing style is wonderful and timeless, making it a classic favorite! 📚 It’s a fun in-between read that’ll definitely make you smile. 😊
Highly recommended if you're looking for a bit of light-hearted nostalgia! 💖

This is a book about a mouse 🐁, a very daring mouse It has a very unusual ending which I don't like,but other than that it's good.
I didn't like this one as much as Charlotte's Web and it felt very scattered. It didn't so much end and it just... stopped.
