I enjoyed parts of this book and some parts even made me chuckle. But overall it was way to gory and graphic for, making me feel nauseous multiple times.

while at times melancholic and slow, Life of Pi can also be exhilarating and action packed. filled with beautiful lines and a protean pace, this book is one that will definitely stay with you for a while. 

there are some gruesome aspects and some moments the slowness can drag on for a frustratingly long time, but overall very much worth the read. it is a book you won’t soon forget, that’s for sure.
