It's okay. A little boring. A little longer than it's supposed to be. My issue with this series is it does not invoke my emotions like I want it to. I really want to like it more but it's just okay. I like Xander the best. Russ and Rory sound like awesome people and their friends sound amazing. Their background stories are good. They have depth. I love that they fit like puzzle pieces together. But I can't really feel the emotions to this story.

I thoroughly enjoyed Wildfire, and Hannah Grace did a fantastic job with Russ and Aurora's story.

Starting with Russ, he was already a favorite from Icebreaker, and this book solidified my love for him. He truly embodies golden retriever energy, being sweet, kind, and adorably insecure at times. His blushes were a recurring highlight, and seeing him grow in confidence throughout the story was heartwarming.

Aurora is a beautifully crafted character. Her struggles with family issues added depth to her personality, and I appreciated how she and Russ bonded over their shared pain, even though their father-related problems were different. It gave their relationship a strong emotional foundation. Russ needs to feel "good enough," and Aurora craves "validation".

Their shared love for romance novels was such a sweet touch, and Aurora blended seamlessly into Russ's circle of friends. The prologue was the cherry on top. A satisfying, adorable conclusion that left me smiling.

However, I couldn't give the book a full five stars because it lacked a significant plot twist or conflict to keep me fully engaged. While the smaller issues and their miscommunications added some drama, the overall storyline felt a bit predictable at times.

Still, Wildfire is a cozy, heartfelt read that will leave you rooting for Russ and Aurora all the way.

Russ was wow. He made me love him so much harder than I ever thought I could. And Aurora was so cute and sweet and sassy! Russ hiding in the bathroom was seriously the sweetest thing I had ever read when she left my heart BROKE for him!! Obviously, it's a good turnaround, and Russ getting JJ's help was the cutest. I would give this 4.5 stars if I could because I liked it more than Icebreaker but I would have to re-read it before adding it to my 5 stars
