Originally, I was only going to give this 4 stars cuz I didn’t feel the heat as much as I did with Icebreaker. But after a bit of debating it, I had come to the conclusion that they’re COMPLETELY different characters with COMPLETELY different personalities, quirks, and issues and honestly?? I related more to Rory and Russ than I did to Nate and Stassie but I really needed to sit on that before I came to that conclusion. I think I was just expecting the same or more, and I gotta stop doing that.

Like a Hallmark movie. A fun read, fast paced. Good beach or vacation read if you are looking for a happy ending. I enjoyed reading it for a quick escape.
I’d say this was a 3.75⭐️ read overall. The characters were really likeable and their personalities and struggles that they faced were relatable and realistic. However, the plot in this was very much lacking. It was more of the kind of read where you just want something light, fluffy, and feel good vibes. Reading about a shy mmc where the girl is the more confident one is not usually the kind of trope I’d pick up but I found myself enjoying the character dynamic, it was definitely refreshing.
Russ really does a 180 when it comes to the bedroom, the confidence really comes out there, so don’t worry about that, the spice does spice. Just not as much as Icebreaker.
I’ll definitely continue the series and look forward to the next book!

3.5⭐️ This started off really interesting and fun and then slowly just got a bit boring? Idk? Their romance was super cute but felt very quick. However, the ending was super adorable!
