Enjoyable but kinda average for me. The characters were younger than i thought they would be based on the description so that kinda threw me off. The sex scenes were pretty hot though.

It is what it is. Gay drama. I got so mad when Elsie turned on Ginny with the same flaws, but, again, sort've a trashy romance beach read. Ass? Was ate!
The long term pining over your best friend is something so relatable it hurts, and there were several aspects of their friendship that hit home for me. I absolutely loved seeing how Elsie & Ginny’s friendship evolved - they each experienced a variety of realizations/emotions about themselves & one another, and watching them navigate it all was simultaneously beautiful and painful at times.
I felt the declaration at the end with instant happily ever after was a bit quick, and was looking forward to seeing the ways they both spoke up for themselves to resolve what happened and move forward - like what acknowledging everything that happened on the honeymoon, more insight about their feelings during the fight, and how they had grown in their time apart. As readers, we saw glimpses of that but I was hoping we would see how they expressed it to each other before moving forward together.

I truly enjoyed this book. Though a few parts were frustrating to me. I enjoyed the character development throughout the book, and of course, the spice! I especially loved some of the side characters, whose stories I’d love to have as their own standalone books.
My biggest complaint is that it dragged at some points. Around the middle of the book, I was a bit bored. However, since I loved the author's other books, I kept reading and ended up enjoying the rest of the book once it got past the hump of the story. I would have to say this was my least favorite of their books so far, though. Overall, a decent read.
Narrator Rating: 4.75 stars
The narrators did an amazing job of bringing all the characters to life, using a unique voice for each character. My only complaint is that Elsie sounded quite annoying in the one narrator's voice for her character, very whiny.
