Lots of interesting content, but a bit of a chore to read.

A bit too magazine-y for my taste. Some good sections, but some bland stuff on ethics and so forth.
Good on the origins of life, Luca etc., though, so worth reading for that if you haven't elsewhere.
(A note on the Kindle edition - it's set as ragged right, which used to be a Kindle option but I don't think is any more. Lots of people seem to like it so it'll make them happy. But I don't like it, and you can't seem to change it to fully justified, so it annoyed me. Ebooks! Production values still all over the place.)
