Didn’t get into the book. Too long descriptions (that often aren’t needed) of everything around. The main character seems to lack understanding of simple things sometimes.

This one took me awhile to get into but I enjoy reading about other cultures. I recommend people read it.. learn something new.

Oh this story is so beautifully written, I know the author said it was based loosely on true stories but I can totally see that. The story is very emotional and very realistic, it was as if I were there with them. Loved every minute of it, even the heartbreaking moments.
