I am new to the world, and since I haven't read the original story told from Clara's POV, I will say I need to read them now, I loved Alexander's side of the story, it makes me wonder what happens on the other side. I went in blind and definitely would recommend it to anyone who loves hot royal romance stories. Alexander is a very complete and complex character, the world Geneva Lee creates is very good and I love the descriptions she writes. The steam of the story is quite good. This story is full of passion, suspense, and hotness overload. A must-read!

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I loved receiving Geneva’s newsletters with teasers of this book. Now that I actually got to read it in full made me so happy. I loved reading Alexander’s perspective from Command Me. For a character like Alexander who doesn’t like to discuss his life and problems, I loved reading what’s going on in his head. Especially when he’s not with Clara and when they are together. One of the things I loved about this book was seeing the small glimpses of Alexander and Edward’s relationship!

Overall, I loved going back into this world through Alexander’s eyes and would love to see more of the series through his perspective!

I admit I have not read this series before. But I will now. It's hot hot hot. Super steamy, super dramatic. I devoured it.
I did notice a few fifty shades resemblance, but I'm not mad at it.
I am mad at the cliffhanger. A romance needs a happy ending. Period! but I guess that's the way to make me read the other books in the series.

I mean I will now because I have to know. But I'm not happy about the cliffhanger

I read Command Me years ago and instantly fell in love with the whirlwind romance that occurred between Alexander and Clara. I love how in this book, we got much of that same story, but with added details that I'd always wondered about.

Did X feel that same intense pull, even from their first unplanned kiss? What were his thoughts when he found out about Clara's "childhood secret"? Did he yearn for her, much like she yearned for him?

This book has the passion, lust, and unbounding desire that I wanted to read from his POV. Yet it also had the intense vulnerability that I knew existed under X's armor. In Command Me, we saw his feelings show through his actions, and in this book we were able to experience it all along with him.

I'm thrilled she wrote these books from his perspective, and I'll be so happy to read the rest of the dramatic love story play out.

X is the retelling of Command Me from Alexander's perspective. We get to re-experience the whirlwind beginning of Alexander and Clara! It's flashbacks from his past, events where Clara wasn't present, and his inner monologue. I enjoyed learning more about what makes Alexander tick and his demons. Regardless of POV, Alexander and Clara’s story is engaging and addicting.

X has something for everyone. For fans of this series, X is a walk down memory lane. It's all of the joy of re-reading a favorite book plus new tidbits and nuances as we see things through Alexander’s eyes. For those who are new to this series, X is a great introduction to the Royals Saga series.

I received an early copy of this book. This voluntary review reflects my honest and unbiased opinion.

This book made me fall in love with Alexander all over again. Seeing everything through his eyes was such a game changer to the story that I already loved. Alexander and Clara are still one of my favorite couples and this POV just cemented that fact.

After adoring Geneva Lee’s The Rivals series, I was eager to dive into more of her work. I read the Smith and Belle arc of The Royals saga, and it left me curious about the Alexander and Clara arc. X tells Command Me – the first in the series – from Alexander’s point of view, and it failed to grab me in the way I’d hoped.

Although there were many aspects to this one, none of them grabbed me in the way I had hoped. There were details I was curious about, but things felt a bit too flat for me. The chemistry and suspense were lacking, which pulled away from the moments I did enjoy. Don’t get me wrong, there were some three-star moments. Sadly, there were too many cliches and it had me rounding my rating down.

I’m sure fans of the series will enjoy seeing things from Alexander’s point of view, but this didn’t work for me the way other books from the author have worked.
