Once again, an amazing book by Karen M. McManus. It was different from her other books, it didn't revolve around murder at the start, but definitely slowly uncovered it throughout the book. I loved the storyline as it was original and of course, I had no idea who were actually evil. I loved the cute romance between Jonah and Millie.

It's completely unremarkable. It has neither lows not highs. While the twist you don't see coming or only can half guess the storytelling leaves a lot to be desired.

Another hit from McManus! While i didn’t love this as much as One of Us is Lying, it was still a great story! I was really hooked, especially as it went on. I didn’t figure out any of the twists and turns so I was happily surprised and intrigued until the very end. The characters are well written, and I loved the bit of romance and different perspectives. McManus is always excellent at writing from different point of views. The story itself was a bit less dark, in a sense, from her other stories, but still compelling! I loved getting the history on the mysterious Story family and the connections they make along the way. Milly, Aubrey and Jonah were enjoyable characters, I liked them all! Highly recommend! McManus is on my must read list.

Bored. Bored, bored, bored. WAY too slow for me.

Ugh.

But also, why the heck were the cousins kissing? I mean, cousins, not-cousins? I don't even know and to be honest, I don't really care.

At least I cured my insomnia with a transparent plot that was as interesting to read as watching paint dry. Oh well.
