It okay, writing is every easy to get through but it's super westernised for the voice of the protagonist.
The White Tiger is present within us all; but in the subcontinent there is no facade, you are in the Jungle, not a zoo. 10/10

Absolutely gripping insight into India and globalisation. Prose that really paints pictures, read it super quick it was so engaging.
OMG!! A perfect rags to riches story. Balram Halwai(the main character) was smart, he was resourceful and someone who shows such ambition and the skill of observation to achieve them. This book delves into so many instances that are too real and hit home perfectly. The main character serves as an amazing and morally grey protagonist that you root for throughout the whole book even though you don't agree with his methods(at least I didn't, but I was never in his shoes so can't judge). Totally a 5 star read.
The book was sometimes a battle to read, because some actions and thought despised me, but the more I read, the more I understood the horrible caste system in India. I gained more sympathy for Balram.
A colourful, intense but beautiful story.
