I read this a first time as a free download on my PC, and even as I was reading it I knew I wasn't giving the experience justice. So I bought it for my tablet and I'm so glad I re-read it properly, giving myself time to sink into the words, the images, the emotion. Horrifying and seductive, funny in parts, with an odd sense of hope and possibility at the end.

I am quickly falling in love with Elliot Cooper's writing. This cosmic horror short had just the right amount of romance and Lovecraftian horror...two things I enjoy reading on their own, made better here.

A light, enjoyable read. Pleasantly diverse, with world building that goes deep in so few pages.

I feel like some of this went over my head, but it was an okay horror story that centers a relationship between two men.

A lovely little queer horror short in the Lovecraft tradition (the cosmic horror one, not the massive racism one). Nicely written with a perfectly sinister end.
