Carly and Seth are making baby steps toward getting back together. Seth is doing his best not to worry about Carly as she makes her home visits. A fire breaking out at the new resort cuts their date short. Seth rushes in to the burning building to help save the workers he saw on the porch. He is able to rescue 2 of them. The third man isn't able to be rescued and Carly stops Seth from running in to try.

The investigation into the drug ring is still progressing leaving a few more bodies in it wake. They do get to the bottom of the matter but the head of the ring and mastermind of the operation is someone no one would expect.

Love this series. Kind of sad to see it end. Definitely will check out other books by these authors.

This is the last chapter in the Rogue River novellas and it concludes the drug story line. All of the loose ends are tied up and the two couples appear to have both gotten their HEA. And best of all for me the villain was the person I predicted in book one!

The series was a quick read and I look forward to the upcoming ones as I work my way through Kendra Elliot’s back list which includes these colabs with Melinda Leigh. I’ll be working on some of her books too.

This was a great way to end the four book series. I am so glad that I found it by accident and I love how 2 books were written by one author and 2 books were written by another offer but they coincided and played off of each other brilliantly. You got to see each character in a different light while solving a mystery but also seeing how two relationships work. One sister in a new love and one fighting for her marriage. It also had touching moments about their father that reminded me of my dad so overall I absolutely loved it! I will have to check out all the other books by each author.

Walking on Her Grave is the last installment in the Rogue Rivers series, and Melinda Leigh did a fantastic job on concluding this suspenseful series. I was not expecting the ending to end the way it did, especially with who was behind the lethal drug that was going around in Solitude, Oregon. From the minute I started the series, I was anxious to find out if the Oregon town would ever figure out who was behind the deadly drug that was sweeping their town.

This book is the conclusion to the Rogue River series. It was an exciting series of romantic suspense. This book was focused on Seth Hardin and Carly Taylor. Seth is trying hard to change his ways so he can be what Carly needs. He realizes now that he can't and shouldn't change her. When one of the kids in her caseload goes missing and has been connected to the illegal drugs in Solitude, Seth and Carly search for him. They find him and a missing building inspector. They believe that they have solved the question of who the manufacturer of the drug is. However, there is one more surprise in store. This was a good series from start to finish. The romance part was important and well done. The mystery/suspense was also well done. Very enjoyable.

Such a great wrap up!

Wonderful characters battling ratty bad guys in a quirky little town. Lots of love, anger, family drama and a murder or two. Well worth the read!

A good ending

Well...the mystery is solved.
And all is well in the town.

Overall, a good little series.
Onto the next one.
