What a book. I thought I’d get bored because it was so long but things just kept happening! Usually I don’t like this either but it all worked well.

I really liked that as the book went on you slowly start to realise his plan of revenge, you know he’s going to get revenge but you’re not sure how. It gets built up throughout the story and all becomes clear at the end. I really enjoy this style of writing as it keeps me wanting to read more.

I like the contrast of him being such a kind man to tearing down his enemies and having more money than sense and kind of swaying between the two. He’s doing things for the right reasons but maybe taking it too far?

I liked being able to follow other characters in the story as it definitely helped me be less bored of reading about the same thing for over 1000 words and it gave you a sense of the people that he likes to surround himself with and the people who he is seeking revenge with.
