Lots of twists, turns & circles. Get mystery at an almost perfect pace.

The story wasn’t necessarily the best, the characters were very naive and overly trusting. But the plot was fun enough for me to not read too much into it. I wish that Hazel’s and Lee’s inner monologue’s were more different though. They sounded the same when reading their parts, they were obviously very similar girls, but there was no need to make them identical.

But regardless of the flaws, I had fun with it. It was worth the read and I liked some of the twists.

This book had a bunch of twists and turns. It turned out to be unexpected
in certain scenarios, with me chucking my theories out the window! The author kept my attention with the plot & I enjoyed this book.

This was my first book by Robyn and it won’t be the last!

I loved her writing style so much!
This book gave me the uneasy feeling, is so twisty, suspenseful and a fast paced thriller that you should read now!

Highly recommend.

3.5⭐️ The first half of this book was great - grabbed my attention right away and kept me wanting to know more about these two women. The second half? Meh. I did like the ending and I enjoyed the back and forth perspectives of the two main characters. Sometimes the writing felt like a lot of short, choppy sentences, but maybe that’s just me being picky. Some parts of the story felt like “filler” or “fluff” (mostly the relationships of characters with their family or previous relationships- Lee, Carter, Ben) as none of them really seemed to add to the plot. However, overall, this book was a page-turner and very entertaining.
