2.5 I just felt this book was so unnecessary and kind of boring. If I ever reread the series I would definitely skip this one and go straight to ACOSF

This has all of the best elements of the ACOTAR series. It has the spicy scenes, touching moments, and connections all in an easily re-readable package.

This is basically the ACOTAR equivalent of the Downton Abbey Christmas special

This book was very cute and the interactions between these characters (whom I've grown so attached to) makes up for the lack of/boring plot. Everything wrapped up a liiitle too nicely, but I just had to be along for the cheesy ride. I will say this book got me very excited to read about Nesta and Cassian in Silver Flames. I feel like Rhys and Feyre's story is more than finished, and I'm ready to move on to bigger and better things :)

I don’t understand why people hate this book, well hate is a strong word so dislike 🙄 excuse my intense interpretation, I personally felt like it was a nice change in timeline. A Holiday where we were allowed to connect more with each character on a fairly humane holiday. Although somehow the length felt similar to the last two books with only half the pages 😂. I might ruffle some feathers but I am definitely not Nesta’s biggest fan, not even her cheerleader. Which says a lot for me because I am an older sister of five and as Nesta did, raised two of my youngest siblings myself.

Either I missed something or absolutely nothing happened in this book
