It’s very slow for about half of the book, however this beautifully sets up the final half. There are many unexpected plot twists that would not have been possible without the slow pace of the beginning. The author plants plot seeds that you don’t even realize until the mind blowing details are revealed.

this one was a pretty good thriller!!! honestly probably the longest thriller i’ve ever read because it’s almost 500 pages and the text in my book is TINY. i did feel it dragging at one point but i will say i was still invested!!!! i didn’t really know who to root for. this reminded me a lot of The Kind Worth Killing by Peter Swanson it definitely had that vibe. some of the reveals got me and others i saw coming. overall it was a really good thriller but not a new favorite. i would be interested in reading more by this author!!

Twisty book that was confusing sometimes but more detail unfolds as we progress through time in the book, so things start adding up.
I like how the twists (there was more than one)sometimes get dropped with one sentence at the end of a chapter, then we just move along as your brain tries to absorb what was just said.
I liked how the author dropped those nuggets and worked out a plot line that’s complex but without any plot holes I can think of.

I COULDN’T STOP LISTENING LOL I was so curious the whole time and all 3 narrators were so good!!

Def recommend if you want a crime mystery!

I know a lot of people liked this book but I just was waiting for it to end. I sensed some of the plot twists coming and when the others were revealed I just didn’t care. I know a lot of people really liked this book and it came recommended as someone who enjoyed First Lie Wins… maybe it’s just the slump I’m in.

Whodunnit, con-artist vibes. No one is who you think they are, many hidden motives.
