God I just, I love them so so much!!! I love how much they both grow and help the other, how it’s just REAL problems, problems that teens and adults DO face. And I love how even tho the main focus is on Charlie and Nick, we still get to learn about all the side characters as well. I’m SO FUCKING HAPPY that Nick finally said something to David!! And Tori?!?! FUCK YEA I wish she would’ve stomped on his phone as well. What a fucking asshole, hate that guy. I hope we get to see Nick and his dad’s relationship maybe grow! Or maybe he’ll be unsupportive, who knows. Either way I’m excited to see the outcome and how much Charlie and Nick will continue to grow.

I also enjoyed that even tho months went by so fast, I didn’t feel like we MISSED anything. It was just, time passing that’s it. Written so well!!

 CUTIES. I LOVE.

 - The siblings joke haha
- I love how Nick's mom takes his side when it comes to his dick brother. She's so great and supportive.
- "Love can't cure a mental illness." I love the acknowledgement of that.
- I've had the experience of not feeling like things can get better with my own mental illnesses, and I love how Oseman shows us how this is wrong.
- I love how Oseman says how an inpatient pysch ward isn't a good thing for everyone. It certainly can be for some, like Charlie, but it wasn't for me and I feel so validated by Oseman saying that.
-Yes, Charlie, the "nothing's straight" joke is always funny
- "Talk about my brother like that again and I'll end you <3" YEEEESSSSSS GOOOOOOO
- I love that Charlie's mom also gets better at understanding and trusting him.

The Heartstopper series never fails to give me a ridiculous amount of feelings.

This one hit differently than the previous volumes, because of the discussion about mental health, as well as about difficult family relationships. Considering the subject matter, it was definitely heavy, but that aspect made it so much more special to me. I'm really glad we got to see the subject of mental health and eating disorders discussed from Charlie's, but also from Nick's point of view, because "love can't cure you" is a very important part of the conversation. Keeping the therapy itself off-page and using time skips was also a good choice, and fit the tone of the series well. Both Charlie and Nick deserve all of the hugs after this one, honestly.

This volume also included plenty of other bits and pieces that I absolutely loved: Nick standing up to David was amazing. Tori being a badass when talking to David was epic. Henry is precious and should be protected at all costs. Charlie and Nick telling each other "I love you" for the first time was adorable.

I truly adore this series and I can't wait to read Volume 5.
