oh charlie boy

Absolutely my favorite volume of this series. While it doesn’t have quite as much sappy sweet romance as the others, this volume details so many important situations that teens find themselves in…especially the realization that you need to cultivate a solid support system and not just rely on your partner.

The plot of this one goes significantly into Charlie’s mental health struggles.

This experience changed me and will stay with me forever. After reading this volume I can say it's my favorite so far. I love how it's mainly focusing on Charlie, who's struggling with his mental health and past demons, and Nick who's trying to help him but eventually realizes he can't. The whole conversation between Nick and his mum at this topic was extremely valuable for me, it shows that sometimes the best we can do for them is just show them we're here and we're supporting and help them seek help from professional. I'm so grateful that Alice Oseman anticipated the fact that they're still just teenagers and can't figure out everything themselves. I struggle with lot of those problems myself, so I was grateful to see it written so well in graphic novel. And last but not least I was absolutely enjoying the diary entries from both of them, I know some people hated that but for me it was really interesting to see them writing and processing everything that happened through journaling. 10000000/10 ❤️‍🩹💖

No estoy llorando, tú estás llorando.

I finished this a while ago, but I didn’t realise I hadn’t updated my Goodreads

I didn't enjoy this one as much as the others. IDK why. Maybe less tooth-rotting fluff? But it was still v fun. We stan Tori and just fkn hate David.
