this is my fav book of heartstopper series so far! i love this book moee bcs it talks about mental illness and how to do when we have someone who suffers on mental illness.

❤️.

This one was much more emotional than the others, with a lot more time spent apart from each other and a lot more hardships.
emotional funny medium-paced

This is everything. But if you don't want your neighbors to see you sobbing, perhaps check it out curled up on the couch. The art is fun and truly incredible and I basically want to rip out all the pages and wallpaper my room (per usual with Alice Oseman!) It is sweet and funny like we have come to love about Heartstopper, but it is also sort of heartbreaking.

This volume deals with significant mental health concerns and I imagine many people (like me)can see themselves as supporters of those with severe mental health concerns. I LOVED how everything was portrayed in a hopeful AND realistic way where romantic love or any singular relationship is not some magical answer.

It's a quick read and perfect to enjoy with a nice beverage! My only complaint is that I'm reading these as they come out and Volume 5 is nowhere near released in the USA. Truly tragic.

4 ⭐️

This was one of my favorite heartstopper volumes! I liked it more than volume 3 for sure. I loved the focus on mental health — and the message that a significant other can’t (and shouldn’t) fix mental illness.
