Solid 4 stars. Dylan is hoot and a half and I wish her "voice" would've been explored more because what a fun hidden talent. Cort was a great partner for her too, they mesh so well. I've already read book 3 so I'm finally going to Delia's book!
I loved every single thing about this book and the audiobook! The audio is duet narration with Maxine Mitchell and Teddy Hamilton and they knocked it out of the park! I love Dylan and her hippie dippy tendencies and overall just how she embraces everything! Did I know this was going to be a surprise pregnancy going in, nopeeee because I did not look up a single trope or anything about this book, but I LOVED it. I've been living for the surprise pregnancy trope lately! I also just love how Courtney embraces her so easily and loves everything that makes her different. Plus, this house is full of some of my favorite characters and the kids just make me laugh all the time! I can't wait to continue listening to the Momcom series!

STOP IT. This was so cute!
Cortney was just the sweetest MMC, I couldn’t get enough of him. I loved this accidental pregnancy trope, it was written so beautifully and it was so easy to get into. I ended up devouring it in under 24 hours.
Can’t wait to finish this fun series!

Mother Maker is the second book in the MomCom series. I really love this found family, all the banter and craziness in the house had me laughing once again in this book.
Dylan and Cortney are really good together, I laughed so much with these two. Cortney is so sweet, caring and I loved his relationship with Liam and all the kids.
Tropes:
⚾️Baseball Hero
⚾️Single mom
⚾️Accidental pregnancy
⚾️One bed
⚾️One night stand
⚾️He falls first
I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Jenni Bara continues the Momcoms series *and* starts a new baseball-themed one of her own with Mother Maker.
Cortney and Dylan's story continues the madcap mayhem that started with [b:Mother Faker|198247815|Mother Faker (The Momcoms, #1)|Brittanee Nicole|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1705436779l/198247815._SX50_.jpg|201093578] and adds lucky socks and a surprise pregnancy to the mix. I'm not going to lie--Dylan's "Dippie-Do"-ness in the first book (and the fact that a heroine named Dylan and a hero named Cortney continued to throw me off all. Book. Long) had me a little apprehensive to start, but this one ended up being just as solid a story as Liv and Beckett's.
Though
I ended up absolutely loving Dylan and all of her quirkiness, and Cort's transition from Mr All-About-Baseball to father-to-be-of-the-year was so much fun to watch. Also, I will never get tired of big, strong men freaking out about snakes and spiders. Hope that trend continues as the series does! I cannot wait to see how things shape up for the other moms :)
Two down, two to go!

Spoiler
I'm still not 100% on board with the whole Beckett-arranged-everything idea. Surely he's got enough on his plate that he's not really going around matchmaking all of Liv's besties? How many people does he want to live with???I ended up absolutely loving Dylan and all of her quirkiness, and Cort's transition from Mr All-About-Baseball to father-to-be-of-the-year was so much fun to watch. The spice was not spicing. The dialogue in general was also not working for me. Enjoyed the anxiety rep, especially in an MMC.
