I just love this MomCom series! The concept of these 4 mothers living together in one house with all their kids is a great set up for lots of laughs. Cortney is catcher in the MLB. He now plays for the team that Becketts family owns. Dylan is the quirky one of the friend group. She is the one who stays home to take care of all the kids. When she gets one night away from all the craziness she really lets loose and has a wild night with Cortney. They agree to one night and as much as they tried to stick to that, they couldn’t stop thinking about each other. But when Dylan finds out she is pregnant, it changes everything. The dynamic with now Cortney living in the brownstone makes things a little more heated. Beckett doesn’t really approve of Cortney, and Liam (Dylan’s son) definitely doesn’t. But it was sweet and you could tell how much Cortney cared with the effort he put in to win over Liam.
I know not everyone is feeling the accidental pregnancy trope right now, but this book is so much more than that. It is a fun romcom but also really touches on important issues too. It is loaded with lots of family and friend sweet moments. I can’t wait to see who is next!
This was a sensational performance by Maxine & Teddy. I just love that these were done in duet, and the ability to voice all these different characters really shows how talented they are!

Mother Maker, was an entertaining listen with a great cast of characters. I thoroughly enjoyed all the banter throughout and the kids made me laugh. I loved their “family” dynamics and how they were raising their kids together. They had a great plan and it worked for them. I found the friendships between all the mothers heartwarming and the kind of village most of us dream of. Cortney and Dylan were great together and I appreciated the way Cortney wanted to become friends with Liam and the household. He endured a lot to prove to Liam he was staying arond.
Narrators Maxine Mitchell and Teddy Hamilton did a fantastic job with Dylan and Cortney and I loved their kid voices!

Mother Maker by Jenni Bara is an accidental pregnancy romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Maxine Mitchell and Teddy Hamilton. This is the second book in The Momcoms series.
This is the first book of Jenni's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Cortney and Dylan. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
I can't wait to read the next book in the series Mother Pucker by Swati MH so I can get Shay and Rowan's story.
Teddy and Maxine did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life and made me feel everything the characters were feeling.
I would recommend this book if you're looking for an accidental pregnancy romance, one bed romance, sports romance, or single mom romance.

Cortney is IMMEDIATELY enamored with Dylan. After a hot and steamy one night stand, Dylan ends up pregnant and worlds get turned upside down. Cortney although scared after finding out, cannot be happier at what’s going on, but is of course nervous because of his crazy baseball schedule.
Liam seems to be Cortney’s biggest adversary, as he’s protective of Dylan and tell Cortney how the reason why he got into so many fights in school was because kids picked on Dylan and called her weird and he needed to defend his mom. Eventually, thanks to their mutual love of cars and Cortney’s family owning racing team Liam and Cortney become close as time goes on.
Dylan is of course apprehensive of everything going on because of how Liam’s father’s family who are also very rich, had treated her when Liam was born. However, Cortney’s family is the complete opposite welcoming Dylan with open arms and Liam as well.
The story of Dylan and Cortney is the 2nd in the awesome mom-com series and I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this series!

I listened to the audiobook version of this story and I loved every minute of it. This is my first read by this author and OMG where has she been all my life. This book made me laugh and swoon so hard! Dylan is one of my favorite FMCs in this series, and Cortney... *sigh*, he's pure deliciousness. This man is so sweet, and so loving there's no way you don't fall in love with him. One of my favorite scenes was that formal dinner with Cortney's family. I cried so hard! The characters in this series are so amazing that I can't get enough of them, main and secondary. The banter is hilarious, the pranks and the family are ridiculous but adorable, the romance is swoon worthy, the spice is delicious, and the story is touching and full of love. The narration by Maxine Mitchell and Teddy Hamilton was nothing but perfection. They showed great chemistry and brought these characters to life in the best way. Another great story in this series!
