My love for her had become such a big part of me I wasn’t sure I could exist anymore without it.

I enjoyed this for the most part, and it really wasn't bad for an accidental pregnancy book, but it just felt like there was something missing..

Really enjoyed this. Dylan and Cortney were really good mcs. I loved how well they worked together and how low drama they were. Dylan was so unapologetically herself and Cortney was just so sweet with both her and Liam.

'Oh gosh no... More like the fireflies. Like the surprise that comes out just when life seems too dark to give you a reason to smile.'

Can I just be best friends with her?? Just sit on the kitchen counter and just talk and laugh and HEAL with this woman because she is an absolute light in anyone's life.

You know how they say people are a breath of fresh air, Dylan is the warmth. She just lives life on her own terms, carefree and trusting of the universe, and enjoying every minute of it. Her quirks and her weird and her superstitions just made her all the more lovable. She's such a peculiar character and this book made her my favorite because of it all.

Cortney was also a surprise for me. From his lucky socks obsession (totally understandable by the way, I love my socks so much) to the inner workings of his mind, his anxiety and need for things to be a certain way and being so down to Earth despite his background... He was just so perfect for her. And so amazing to fall head over heels for.

I think the way their coupling is so deeply intertwined with the dynamics of the family, the chaos and how he has to win everyone over made for some of my favorite parts.

WHEN SHE REVEALS SHE'S PREGNANT THOUGH?! 'This is the whole Joe Arden thing all over again.' I WAS ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING!! And Dylan was so calm about it. I aspire to be that calm. I aspire to be that trusting of things to unfold as they should.

Her chemistry with Cortney was explosive, the way they grew to know each other better and the absolute adoration in which he took care of her throughout and stood up to her brother AND THEN PUT BRETT'S MOTHER IN HER PLACE. I loved it so much.

Also, please understand that as a booklover plenty goes through the head, with characters, relations, and scenarios and some fall through, but the most defining parts stick around. Future in laws standing barefoot with or without socks on stage in solidarity because her heels were hurting her, in a gala that they were hosting and feeling no shame in being themselves... Please know it will forever be one of my favorite moments ever.

I love the support, the love, the coming together of things, the way Cort and Beckett actually show headway in becoming a unit that stands firm in protecting and loving and also respecting the pact their women have, Liam and his learning and earning and acceptance of Cort and Dylan getting her ever after. I would recommend this book times over and I look forward to a reread every time I miss her.
