I knew when a series was called the MomComs that it would be absolutely stellar. Even better is that this series of four books dropped one after the other after the other and it was easy to get wrapped up in the tornado of these four moms that all came together to support each other and their children through the harder times of life. This book was the story of Cortney Miller (swoony baseball player) and Dylan (let the wind take me). They are the perfect balance of anxiety and calm, even when an accidental pregnancy is thrown into the mix. Through a series of pranks that Cortney handles with grace and good nature, their relationship grows into a comfortable love story that will give you all the feels. I love, love, love these two and love how Cortney was so in love with Dylan almost from the get go. It’s like the universe woke up and told him to live a little!

“Your mom is magic. She came into my life at the exact moment I needed her. She’s brightened every detail, every experience, and she’s opened my eyes to all the best parts of the world.”
For the love of hot-crossed (man)buns and cinnamon rolls, I am loving the MomComs! Mother Maker was my first book by Jenni Bara and I was smitten cover to cover. Dylan is a fabulous, nurturing, sweetheart single mom. Abandoned by her son’s father, Dylan had made a lovely life for herself and Liam. Cortney is a humble, big-hearted cinnamon roll baseball star who was recently traded to Boston. With a smidge of meddling from fate and a few friends, their scorching hot one-night-stand became the forever family neither ever expected. This entire cast of zany characters is amazing, but Beckett may still be my fave. His sneaky antics are utterly heartwarming. Cortney is a heart-melting, top-tier book boyfriend. I cannot stop smiling when I think about his genuine thoughtfulness and desire to fit into the family; his need to bond with and be accepted by each of the kids was charming. His sincere interest and care for Liam from the start made me teary-eyed. Dylan’s down-to-earth, wispy nature and Cortney’s possessive golden retriever vibes were a match made in heaven. Mother Maker is a lighthearted, hysterical, single mom, billionaire romance with oodles of found family hijinks.
