Perfection again
And we have to wait another year? AARGH!!! Loved it. Got some new people and stories going on and still get to see some of my favorites. Please, WARDen, write a 5,000 page book that encompasses everyone again.

I read it in 2 days with work & kid stuff. Couldn't put it down. Best Jr Ward book yet. Read it twice in a month I loved it so much. Even went back & listened to it as an audio book
Redemption.
After the last book, I was afraid to pick this one up, but boy am I glad I did. First off...Rhage. Enough said. He doesn't disappoint, not in the least and neither does Mary. Their story is one I could read on and on over a period of time and never lose interest. There are a few brothers and their shellans that have this impact on me. I loved reading more of their story and getting to know Bitty more as well. I am glad their story is going to continue in the new Legacy book.
Assail. Let's talk about this guy. In the past books, I liked him, found him intriguing and enjoyed reading about him, but in this book, I fell and boy did I fall hard. More. I need more. Please and thank you.
Throe...okay. I really liked this guy when the bastards were introduced. I was sad to see him being made into the bad guy and in this book, he continues down that path...Is he redeemable?
Xcor. WTF is going on with him? I know he and Layla's book is next (I like her and I'm excited.) I'm ready to get their story out and Layla to finally get her hea. For the love. All of those chosen deserve more than what they've endured over their years.
Scribe Virgin. Bye Felicia.
Zsadist. OMG Every time he was on the page, I was in tears.
Vishous...Okay. I'm going to get this off my chest because it's been bothering me since his book, and also Payne's book. I DON'T LIKE JANE. I don't know what it is, but I just don't get her and Vishous. I mean...is she really supposed to be his fated mate? These two are so far removed from each other it's painful to watch/read. I don't get their dynamic at all. When V was hurting and in need, he called his bff, Butch. Not Jane. Nope. Butch. I think V and Butch's relationship is special, not romantic, I think it goes much deeper than that. I just read about all of these males and when they are pained or in need, they call out to their shellans. Makes me wonder why V doesn't do that...
There's a lot going on in the BDB books now. A lot of different stories pop up unexpectedly like this new one with Jo. Through the whole book I'm trying to figure out who the fu*k she is and I never saw that coming...but I know there's more to her than what we've been shown...I have my suspicions about her.
Anyway...I loved every part of this book and I cannot wait until the next one.
I laughed, I cried, I laughed again, I cried, cried some more, laughed, gasped, sighed, moaned, cried, gasped, laughed and cried...
PS Where the eff is Murhder?

4 Stars.
This series is amazing but the last couple of books have been a bit of a letdown (in my opinion).
I am glad to say that with this book and the previous one (spinoff book 'Blood Kiss') she seems to be back on track.
I'm glad I kept reading through this series because this book was great.

I'm always torn with these books and would usually rate them lower. I feel like it's just me who dislikes them the way I do so I rate them based on the parts I do like.
While I enjoy the story centered around the brothers and occasionally their society, the human/lesser parts bore me so much. This book had me in tears, had me laughing and feeling so much for the characters. I absolutely love Rhage and Mary and feel for each of the brothers. You can practically feel the love between them both and even with the other brothers. And Rhage this book, didn't know I could love his character anymore than I already did.
Although Layla still annoys the heck out of me.

This book is awesome. We get to here about our favorites and learn about all new characters. I can't wait for the next book.
I enjoyed this book, however, there was a lot going on. Rhage and Mary's story itself was great. Unfortunately, there were so many other characters with other storylines that kind of became a distraction and detracted from Rhage and Mary's story.
Estoy entre 4'5-5
