Loved it!
Probably my favorite yet. This book had me laughing and crying all the way through. Can't wait to read the next one.

This book has renewed my passion for BDB. It makes me want to go out buy every single one and start over. I loved the Rage and Mary so much in this book. There characters really shined. Great work! Looking forward to the next book .... Layla and Xcor - I've been in love with there story line since it started. Secretly rooting for them, hoping something could happen to open the door. And now we know what !
5 stars all the way through, I totally love Rhage and Mary and so happy that they finally got what they wish for.
Jo is a very interesting new character and I kinda want to see where J.R. Ward is going with that story.
I wonder if the Wrath and his crew find out about Layla knowing Xcor and how she help him. Kinda wish they won't. Layla seem so innocent with her love interest towards Xcor.

Was an "okay" addition to the BDB saga. About 20 chapters too long, though. The Rhage/Mary story was quaint, but completely predictable. The Layla/Xcor story was meh. I really don't care about those characters. Speaking of characters I don't care about --- Assail.
Not sure what Ward will write next for BDB. Not sure if I care. I enjoyed her spin-off series, Black Dagger Legacy, and her other series, The Bourbon Kings.

Page 499. Holy shit. Holy. Shit.
I wasn't as desperate to read this instalment as I have been in the past, but Ward has set us up for some serious plot turns moving forward.
