LOVE LOVE LOVE Bitty!!!!!!!! Now I love Rhage and Mary even more. And Beast too

Honestly, this series gets better and better. I kinda want to hate Ms. Ward because I didn't write this. Maybe I'll just kinda hate her for making me wait for Blood Vow.

Without spoilers: This book was tremendous. It got frustrating as many of these warriors have real big issues with talking about what's bothering them when there is CLEARLY something bothering them, but when it did all come together it was absolutely perfect. There were alot of happy and sad tears in the final few chapters, and alot of squealing in glee in several places.
Basically Big Scary Deadly Warriors meet tiny traumatized little girl. And the result? ABSOLUTELY WHOLESOME MAGIC.

I'm a huge fan of Ward and the BDB, but this one didn't quite have the same feel as the others. I felt like the story jumped to conclusions faster than I was ready to make them without giving me the proper evidence to support it. Some of the humor felt too unrealistic, like it was just there to be funny and not to move the story along. I still enjoyed it, but it wasn't the standard that I was used to.

After learning that book #14 was going to be Rhage and Mary, I was apprehensive. But, Ward is back to her old self! I've missed this writing and the Brothers! I'm glad we got more of Hollywood and his shellan! I'm happy they got Bitty and got to be a real family. I'm also happy with the progression of Layla's story and Assail's story! I'm ready for more BDB. Still can't stand all the pop culture references (ie she hashtaged in a book! ugh). but.. I think V and Jane need a new book soon! I'm feeling a reread of some older BDB books soon! and Manny has a sister?! oh.. wonder if that will turn out to be it's own book or not..and I need some more Bastard side stories! geeze!

As usual, reading a Black Dagger Brotherhood novel is like taking a trip to another world. So much fun and it is really like getting 4 stories in one! This book definitely had the theme of family, whether it's good or bad, and how important family can be. I loved reading more of Rhage and Mary's story, loved the interaction between the brothers also. As always, we are left with a couple of loose ends, and can't wait for the next book in this series!

The main story-line was ok but there were a few good reveals that made up for it.

OMG this book!!! And the feels, god so many feels. I missed those guys so fucking much I had no idea. First of all Rhage and Mary with Bitty just melter my heart, oh my god
Spoilerwhen Rhage just blurted that she was going to live with them and she goes all can I call you father?? my poor heart. and When she askes Mary what humans call their mahmens? MY GOD! And Bitty finally meeting the Brothers and Fitz and asodjsifjsdd
