Wow, what a ride!

Not going to spoil it for anyone but this was an amazing read, love how the characters evolved becoming the best version of themselves.

The story started kind of slow but quickly I became hooked and could not read it fast enough.

The plot twists had me in tears in several places, I cant wait to read the next instalment of the series.

I would highly recommend reading this book if you love magic, dragons and the lore of the old gods.

I received an ARC to review, & it really exceeded my expectations.
Story very well written & full of surprises. Captivating characters, kept me on the edge & I couldn’t sleep before finishing it.
I can’t wait for the next book.

Where to start! Man, this was so much fun. I'm a real sucker for libraries and when I read the synopsis I was all in and I'm glad I did.
This was in many ways a fast paced fantasy with a huge dose of romance (there is very little spice which I'm grateful for as I'm not a fan of spice but I am of romance)
We see the POV of 2 main characters that of the Prince Fennion and Harken. With Harken we see someone who hates what she is and you have to wonder why she does what she does. If I'm really honest I don't understand why she wouldn't love the library (I'll get on to that in a minute). Harken really doesn't like Fennion, who I find quite charming. He has his own demons just like Harken but unlike Harken he is not sure why some people treat him the way they do. Watching them try and work together is a lot of fun with a bit of underlying darkness as events happen throughout the book.
I just wanted to also mention the amazing library. I wish I could visit it. I love the fact that the library could change itself on a whim almost as if it was alive you knew when they liked or didn't like the visitor.
I will definitely be reading the next book when it comes out!
