I když mě obálka této knihy nijak moc nezaujala, spíše naopak, nechala jsem se nalákat anotací. Humorná oddechová romantika bylo přesně to, co jsem potřebovala. A tak jsem četla a jak jsem obracela stránku za stránkou, pomalu mi docházelo, že tato kniha je spíše sondou do disfunkčního vztahu a o tom, jak moc bude člověk kopat kolem sebe a ubližovat okolí, místo toho, aby se ke všemu postavil čelem, nebo si s tím druhým promluvil. Tohle není můj styl a já několikrát uvažovala o tom, že knihu odložím, protože něco takového mi za to, kazit si náladu, vážně nestojí. A i když poslední třetina knihy vše propojila, vysvětlila a místy i trochu pobavila, celkově ve mě kniha nezanechala moc pozitivní dojem. Závěr je tedy asi takový: pokud hledáte příjemnou a milou romantickou oddechovku, tahle kniha to není. Pokud ale hledáte zajímavý příběh založený na vztazích a chybějící partnerské komunikaci, tohle je přesně to pravé.

My goodness. Author really rallied at the end. I know it’s her style, but these types of people are awful. The happy ending saved this otherwise very hard read.
I read it because so many rave about it and it’s going to be a movie but I don’t get the hype.
