A cute rom-com with a quirky twists on enemies to lovers. It would be great for the girl dealing with a meddling, overbearing mother-in-law.

I put off this book for a long time because I just wasn't sure I'd like it. It's definitely unique and I'm impressed she was able to redeem the characters based on where they started

This book got going right away, which I appreciate. It was a fun plot that was enjoyable to follow, even if it was somewhat predictable. I didn’t really like the main character, and I couldn’t tell whether or not that was intentional. There were some points that felt a little *too* cheesy for my personal taste, (I don’t mind some cheesiness) but not to the point where I stopped enjoying the story.

*Every time I picked up this book and saw the title I heard Galinda’s voice saying “You deserve each other - this hat and you” in my head.*

wish I’d known going into this that the protagonist is certifiably insane so here’s your forewarning
funny hopeful lighthearted

“I’ve been holding my breathe since the second I met him; how strange now, to exhale at last. Breathing will never feel the same again.”⁣

This might be my favorite romance of the year so far! If you’re married or in a relationship I can guarantee that you will be able to relate to Naomi and Nicholas is some way because I know I definitely could. ⁣

I laughed so much with some of the things Naomi and Nicholas did but by the time I got to the last chapter my emotions were all over the place. I loved seeing their relationship transform and how they learned to fall back in love with each other. ⁣

I really enjoyed the writing style and how it captured true feelings. I can’t wait to read more of Sarah Hogle’s work! I highly recommend You Deserve Each Other to all you romance readers! ⁣

Somehow, the last 30% made up for the first 70%, but I still think that some of the things this couple did to each other in the beginning crossed a line, making it almost impossible to root for them. However, it ended cute, so I give it an average rating.
