شخصیت‌ها رو خیلی دوست داشتم. همگی عجیب‌وغریب ولی واقعی بودن. بعد از اینکه تموم شد بلافاصله رفتم فیلمش رو دیدم، و انتظار داشتم خارق‌العاده باشه ولی یکم ناامیدم کرد. که البته این ریویویی برای فیلمش نیست پس درباره‌ش چیز بیشتری نمی‌گم.
فصل‌هایی که از زبان کلانتر بود، فصل‌های مورد علاقه‌م بودن. طنزهای تلخی می‌گفت که اول خنده‌م می‌گرفت بعد به فکر فرو می‌رفتم. در نهایت فکر می‌کنم کتاب درباره‌ی یه قاتل روانی و جوشکاری که اتفاقی پولش رو برداشته بود نبود، بلکه درباره‌ی کلانتر پیری بود که در تمام زندگیش شکست خورده بود. پیرمردی که دیگه جایی براش وجود نداشت.
کاشکی ترجمه‌ی بهتری داشت. واقعا انتظار نداشتم نشر چشمه همچین ترجمه‌ای که انگار ویراستار از صد کیلومتریش هم رد نشده رو چاپ کنه.

All American straight-forward adventure novel featuring absolutely iconic characters. Very fun and gritty.
It took me a little while to get into his writing style but it was a great read and action packed like the film!
